The Raising Voices Speaker Series is an initiative of YWCA Duluth to amplify the voices of modern-day leaders who educate, organize, and inspire action. The 2026 series focuses on racial equity and highlights a powerful new literary project: Floyd’s Baller, a Young Adult historical fiction novel authored by Duluth’s own Heather N. Wilde, written in collaboration with Adarryl Hunter, George Floyd’s best friend since their younger years.

Our Spirit Valley building has been donated to Divine Konnections and will be re-opening as the Diver Morning Sky Hope & Healing Center. Join us to celebrate this amazing collaboration!

Join our Director of Policy & Advocacy Savannah for a night of intentional dialogue around what works best in our community for you! We’ll serve a homemade meal sponsored in part by Whole Foods Co-op, offer free child care to the first 10 kids (sorry - space is limited!) and be in community with others going through a similar life journey.

To commemorate our collaboration with Divine Konnections and the opening of Diver Morning Sky Hope & Healing Center, artist & activist Carla Hamilton will paint a mural on our playground fence and needs YOUR help with the design!
