Community Assessment
Our primary project in 2025 was a community needs assessment.
We created intentional dialogue with women and gender expansive people in our community to learn what they need, and to create ways to fill in the gaps including programs, special initiatives and events. We did this through our electronic survey and by hosting community conversations.
Elements of our Community Assessment
We surveyed a group of over 300 women and gender expansive people and interviewed more than 100 from April 2025-December 2025.
Current stage. We are analyzing the data we collected to recognize themes and understand the needs not being met by current community programming.
We will produce a report with our findings in spring 2026 and make available to community partners and interested Northland residents. The report will be available here.
