Community Conversation - Moms & Gender Expansive Parents
Join our Director of Policy & Advocacy Savannah for a night of intentional dialogue around what works best in our community for you! We’ll serve a homemade meal sponsored in part by Whole Foods Co-op, offer free child care to the first 10 kids (sorry - space is limited!) and be in community with others going through a similar life journey.
Community Mural Project
To commemorate our collaboration with Divine Konnections and the opening of Diver Morning Sky Hope & Healing Center, artist & activist Carla Hamilton will paint a mural on our playground fence and needs YOUR help with the design!

Galentine’s Day Celebration
Held on February 13, 2025 at The Studio Café in Duluth, our first annual Galentine’s Day Celebration was full of love. From self-love MadLibs given to each participant to talking about our upcoming 2025 initiatives, this group of GALS showed love for their community as well as themselves.

Gender Joy Art Show
Our second annual Gender Joy Art Show on May 9, 2025 was nothing short of amazing! The community SHOWED UP to participate in and view this year’s community art salon, dive into delicious snacks and bevies from Zeitgeist and to ensure that our collective voice was heard loud and clear — gender rEVOLution is always the vibe! Sponsored by the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council.

Persimmon Power Brunch
On July 10, 2025, we gathered a group of distinctive women who have shattered glass ceilings all over Duluth to ask one simple question — how’d you get to where you are today? By discussing the challenges and breakthroughs of their careers with each other, and including young women in the dialogue, we were reminded that we are not in competition with each other — we are each other’s community. Add in a delicious brunch from MidCoast Catering and gift bags from the Duluth Med Spa and we call it the Persimmon Power Brunch!
