Young Women's Initiative of Minnesota Duluth Cabinet

The Young Women's Initiative of Minnesota (YWI MN) is a statewide initiative focusing on young women and gender-expansive youth between the ages of 16 and 24. YWI MN is a partnership between the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota and the Governor’s Office. We center the leadership and solutions of young women of color, American Indian young women, young women from Greater Minnesota, LGBTQ+ youth, and young women with disabilities. We are intentionally creating an intersectional safe space for liberation, social action, healing, and joy.

The YWI MN Duluth Cabinet is a gathering of young women and gender-expansive youth to create connections and partnerships, build leadership skills and opportunities, create opportunities for self-care and healing, and build collective power to make social change. The YWCA Duluth facilitates the Duluth Cabinet.

You will learn about leadership development and advocating for changes that are important to you.
