Empowered Women, Empowering Women

About Girl Power!

YWCA Duluth’s Girl Power! program is an after school, lunch, and summer day camp program dedicated to cultivating future leaders. YWCA Duluth is a partner of Girls Inc. at YWCA Minneapolis.

Through this partnership, Girl Power! uses nationally accredited Girls Inc. leadership curriculum, STEM (science technology engineering math) activities and experiments, race and gender justice activities, economic and media literacy education, field trips, academic support and much more! We work hard to provide our participants with a variety of engaging and empowering experiences that leave them feeling strong, smart, and bold!

School and Girl Power!

School year Girl Power! programming serves girl-identifying students primarily in third through eighth grade out of many Duluth schools and community drop-in sites. Programming is completely free thanks to grant funding and generous donations from families and community members like you!

See below for more information about our sites and to register. Check out the Summer Camp page if you are looking to register for summer 2021. Please feel free to contact us with any questions: morgan@ywcaduluth.org or 218-464-2433.
