Race Against Racism is a reimagining of YWCA Duluth’s long standing Mother’s Day Walk Run. Nationally, the YWCA has shifted to a primary focus of eliminating racism, and by changing this event we are working to better represent the national strategy and work towards racial equity. The race raises funds to deliver on our mission to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
Join us on May 15 for our Race Against Racism. Run, walk, or roll – participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to join us. The race will take place on the beautiful Lakewalk in Duluth and we will offer a 5K, shorter 2-mile event, and a kids fun run. Each participant will receive a Race Against Racism t-shirt.
